Park City’s 4th of July Extravaganza

Park City’s Independence Day celebration blends small-town charm with mountain adventure. Here’s the schedule for July 4, 2025:

  • 8:00 AM: 5K Fun Run at Cole Sport. Supports Park City Ski & Snowboard. Open to all ages, with medals and prizes. Register early (capped at 1,000).
  • 9:00 AM: Rodney Schreurs Fallen Officer Memorial. Honor a local hero.
  • 10:00 AM–4:00 PM: Park City Library Book Sale. Books $1–$3, Tote Bag Happy Hour (2:00–4:00 PM, $15/tote). Accepts cash, Venmo, credit cards ($10+).
  • 10:45 AM: Flyover. Thrilling jet flyover from Hill Air Force Base.
  • 11:00 AM: Park City Fourth of July Parade. Floats and bands on Historic Main Street. Park at Park City Mountain or take the bus.

Insider Tip: Main Street closes 6:00 AM–1:00 PM. Carpool, bike, or use Park City Transit.

July 3, 7:30 PM at Snow Park Amphitheater: Patriotic Pops features Broadway star Nikki Renée Daniels and the Utah Symphony with American classics.

Heber Valley’s Red, White & Blue Festival (July 4)

Heber Valley hosts patriotic festivities from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM:

  • 6:30 AM: Hot Air Balloons launch.
  • 7:00 AM–10:00 PM: Firetruck with flag display.
  • 7:00–9:00 AM: 5K & 10K Run.
  • 7:15 AM & 9:00 AM: Bi-Plane Flyover.
