Real Estate Statistics
Old Town Park City provides a glimpse back into the times of a miner. Due to the mining history of the area many of the lots were developed in the 1800’s and are often skinnier, compared to many areas in Park City; therefore, homes are closer together. The neighborhood offers single family homes and condominiums that are close to main street shopping, nightlife, all three ski resorts and summer activities. *Real estate statistics do not include commercial properties.

Old Town Park City, Utah Real Estate

Old Town real estate provides homes and condos for sale and a handful of neighborhoods offer ski-in-ski-out access to Park City Mountain Resort. The entire area is a short walk to the best snow on Earth and an exciting place to live year round. Whether you’re looking for luxurious new construction at Kings Crown or a Victorian home built in the 1800’s Old Town has many different options for all price ranges. The homes on Woodside Avenue and Lowell Avenue typically have the best ski access and Silver Star is one of the most popular high-end condo developments. Real estate investors tend to gravitate towards Old Town because of the location and high occupancy rates. The Resort Center and Park City Village rent very well and are located around the ice skating rink at the Park City Mountain Resort. Old Town is made up over 150 subdivisions that are surrounded by Deer Valley, Aeire, Park Meadows, and Thaynes Canyon.

Old Town offers property owners and renters easy access to skiing and a short walk to the restaurants on Main Street. You can catch the bus system to take you anywhere in town. With the convenience of the local grocery store Fresh Market, many owners choose to fly into the Salt Lake International Airport and Uber for the 37-mile drive to their destination. If a car is needed there is an Enterprise within Old Town.

Life in Old Town

Park City was voted as the "Best Town Ever" by Outside Magazine and you'll be right in the center of it all living life on vacation. Old Town real estate offers plenty of entertainment for skiers, snowboarders, hikers and mountain bikers but it also offers something for those who don’t partake in slopeside activities. Main Street is a foodie’s dream with dozens of great restaurants, shopping, entertainment at The Egyptian Theater, and the Sundance Film Festival. The top Old Town condos to experience what Main Street has to offer are Sky Silver, 205 Main St. Condominiums, The Parkite, or Treasure Mountain Inn.

Old Town is surrounded by mountains on three sides and if you’re on the outer edges you'll have fantastic views during the day and at night you will experience the twinkling lights. Remember that this area of town was founded by silver miners in the 1860’s so many of the land parcels are smaller in nature so it would be easy for the workers to get to walk to work in the mines and today their paths create easy access to entertainment, nightlife, and the only ski-in-ski-out distillery in the World at High West.

If you are considering buying a home or condo in Old Town Park City you may also want to consider Deer Valley for the skiing or flip to the other side of Park City Mountain Resort to The Canyons Village.
