The homes on Woodside Avenue and Lowell Avenue typically have the best ski access and Silver Star is one of the most popular high-end condo developments.

Real estate investors tend to gravitate towards Old Town because of the location and high occupancy rates. The Resort Center and Park City Village rent very well and are located around the ice skating rink at the Park City Mountain Resort. Old Town is made up of over 150 subdivisions that are surrounded by Deer Valley, Aerie, Park Meadows, and Thaynes Canyon.

My general rule of thumb for investors is that the closer you are to Main Street or Park City Mountain Resort the stronger the rents.  Also, if you can purchase a property that has three or more bedrooms the better your rents will be at the end of the year.  

I personally feel that some of the best investment properties in Park City are single-family homes in Old Town. The reason why is because the convenience of the location means high rental occupancy and rates.  Historic homes tend to not have an HOA, so you don't necessarily have hotel amenities but the lower cost of ownership can be reinvested elsewhere.  

Old Town offers property owners and renters easy access to skiing and a short walk to the restaurants on Historic Main Street. You can catch the bus system to take you anywhere in town. With the convenience of the local grocery store Fresh Market, many owners choose to fly into the Salt Lake International Airport and Uber for the 37-mile drive to their destination. If a car is needed there is an Enterprise within Old Town.

Park City was voted as the "Best Town Ever" by Outside Magazine and you'll be right in the center of it all living life on vacation. Old Town real estate offers plenty of entertainment for skiers, snowboarders, hikers, and terrain to mountain bike. Ski lifts and terrain parks are nearby since you're in the base area of Park City Mountain Resort. The area also offers something for those who don’t partake in slopeside activities.

When living in Old Town you can strap on your ski boots within an hour of landing at the Salt Lake International Airport and start your trip to Park City right.  The ski resorts are great in the summer or winter but we also have easy access to some of the best national parks in the United States.  There's always plenty of fun to be had when living in Park City.

Old Town is the epicenter of a pure ski town that has mountains bordering three sides. If you’re on the outer edges you'll have fantastic views during the day, and at night you will experience the twinkling lights of Park City. 

This area of Park City was founded and developed by the silver miners of the 1860s'. Many of the land parcels are smaller in nature so it would be easy for the workers to walk to work in the mines. Today their paths create easy access to entertainment, nightlife, and the only ski-in-ski-out distillery in the World at High West.

Old Town is one of the most complex real estate markets in Park City.  While not all properties lie within the Park City soil ordinance there's a possibility that some properties lie within the Park City Soil Ordinance

The size of the lot, access to skiing, views, age of property can all play a major factor in values. The highest valued properties are either right on Main Street or newer construction.  The prices on condos at the base of Park City Mountain Resort are older but great values and nearby single-family homes may be worth many times more.
