Also, depending on your search, you may only have a few homes on the Park City MLS.
Next, you need to decide how much ski access plays into your decision. If you demand the best ski access, you'll want to be in Upper Deer Valley or Empire Pass. The runs in Deer Crest can be challenging in the early or late ski season.
If there is limited inventory, the age of a home can be one of the most challenging aspects of your search. Previous owners may have built houses in the prime Deer Valley parcels first, so don't rule out a home with great bones and extensive views because it isn't new construction. Typically, you can easily update a Deer Valley home without moving too many walls or making additions because the square footage tends to be large, and even homes built in the 90s' have open floorplans.
