Deer Mountain homes for sale are located just outside of Park City, Utah. The area has grown over the years due to the affordability of the area but still having easy access to the Park City lifestyle. The views are often outstanding as they overlook the Jordanelle Reservoir and Deer Valley Resort Area. 

In this area, you can expect most homes to range from three to six bedrooms and around 3,000 to 6,000 square feet. The community was developed in the early 2000s' but there are still some of the most affordable land parcels in the area as well as newly built homes.

The location is referred to as the Golden Triangle since it's across from the Jordanelle soft launch, six-minutes to Park City, six-minutes to Mayflower Lift, and eight-minutes to Kimball Junction. 

Deer Mountain works well for homeowners that love outdoor activities. Trail systems provide easy access for hiking, biking, and a simple morning walk with the dogs. Boating on the Jordanelle and golfing at the public golf course make this community a wonderful spot for a primary residence or a second home.

With growth from Park City continuing in this direction it is safe to plan on more amenities in the future. It's reasonable to expect grocery stores, restaurants, and more things to do in the upcoming years.

The association fees include common area taxes and insurance as well as the maintenance of the grounds. Short term rentals are not allowed in the Deer Mountain community.

Deer Mountain Utah Pros and Cons

Pros: Affordability vs Park City, Views, Easy Location for Outdoor Activities and Park City ski resorts. 

Cons: Some homes are closer to highway 248 and can pick up the road noise.
