The original builder specifications were solid for the price range, with 2x6 exterior walls and insulation levels above what you'll find in many older Heber Valley homes. Floor plans lean open, with natural light, main-floor kitchen islands, and in many cases a finished bonus room or three-car garage.

Living in Midway
Midway sits on the west side of the Heber Valley, and it's quieter than Park City without being remote. Golf is close, with courses at Wasatch Mountain State Park and Soldier Hollow. The Provo River below Jordanelle is one of the better fly fishing stretches in the state, and the Homestead Crater and Midway's town center are a short drive from Scotch Fields.
Park City is about 25 minutes away. Heber City's grocery, dining, and services are closer than that, and Salt Lake City International Airport is roughly an hour, depending on weather and traffic.
Skiing from Scotch Fields
The closest resort base is the Deer Valley Expansion at Mayflower Mountain, along US-40 near Jordanelle Reservoir. That's a real change for Midway owners. You no longer have to drive into Park City to reach Deer Valley terrain.
Park City Mountain and Deer Valley's original base areas are roughly half an hour out. Scotch Fields isn't a ski-in, ski-out neighborhood, and we won't describe it as one.
Rentals, HOA, and What to Confirm
