Where to even begin. Derrik and Shelby are both absolutely phenomenal! I decided to start investing in short-term rentals earlier this year. I made a lot of random cold calls to brokers all over the country trying to find the right place to invest. Honestly, most of these brokers either never bothered to answer the phone. They rarely bothered to call back, and if they did were usually less than helpful. Derrik picked up the first time I called and spent well over an hour on the phone with me. He didn't know who I was, what I would end up doing, or if the call was even legitimate. That's how our relationship started.
Park City turned out to be an amazing place to invest for a whole lot of reasons. From March until May of this year, I've purchased four rental properties now using Derrik totaling over $12 million in total investment. And throughout that whole process, Derrik has been incredible. He knows the market exceptionally well. He knows the area exceptionally well. His expertise in that was worth it's weight in gold. I don't live in the area, and had only been there once so I was taking a huge chance. I had to rely on his familiarity and his experience in order to make this remotely viable. He did not let me down.
The properties he recommended are doing amazingly well. He found great value, he knew everyone of the brokers for the sellers at these properties. That made a massive difference. His ability to negotiate these deals, his patience, and his responsiveness made this very very easy. He took care of nearly everything for me, kept me informed, and turned something that would've been a nightmare into something quite enjoyable. But he and Shelby have also not walked away after the sales. They help me anytime I need anything, they respond to everything I send them. Ironically, I reached out day before yesterday because I had been looking at a couple of other investment properties out there. We sent some requests to a broker, and got nothing back for days. I actually made the comment to him “ Man, these people need to use you to list their property.” I like to move very fast, I need to make things happen, and I don't really have time to waste. It would be nice if everyone else moved at the pace that these folks do.
I have not had any issues with anything that they've done. No problems they couldn't resolve. I would highly recommend this team to anyone without reservation, but particularly people who are looking to invest in high-end property. When you're looking to invest that much basically blind, you really need good solid advice you can trust 100%, or you stand to lose a lot of money. That risk is greatly mitigated with this team. I can't recommend them highly enough!
